11i Apps DBA Concepts and Administration  

This course is about how install and configure Oracle Applications 11i and R12, and how to consistently and quickly understand complex Oracle Applications problems. The 11i and R12 architectures are introduced, explored and contrasted. This is a very hands-on, unique class that approaches Apps DBA challenges from the application, Application Server, DataBase and operating system perspective. 11i System Administration     

In this hands on course students are trained on the system administration tasks in Oracle Applications. You will learn to design your security processes and to consider the different roles and responsibilities within your enterprise by looking at key design and implementation decisions. The curriculum covers all aspects of security profile definition, including assignment-level security, and also covers related processes and procedures, for example, menu and function security?

Demonstration of a sample workflow process and introduction to workflow concepts such as notifications and the workflow monitor, to give attendees an idea what a workflow process looks like to an end user as well as to an administrator. Introduction to the Workflow Builder tool Overview of Workflow terminology (the names of objects as used in the workflow builder), and a demonstration of how to utilize the workflow builder tool to make a simple modification the sample workflow process, and test it.

11i Upgrade  

The 11i Upgrade class, is 5 days, and starts with an 11.5.8 Vision Instance and upgrades to 11.5.10.2 with HR.PF.K and HRGLOBAL. The upgrade covers concepts of upgrading most modules, including CRM and Self-Service modules, such as Service and OTL. Basic concepts such as the oraInventory are explained and downtime reducing steps such as staging from the 11.5.10.2 DVDs are covered. Specific troubleshooting is done to avoid problems with FND_NODES and FND_APPLICATION_SERVERS.            

11i Functional Training Classes        

11i Financial Overview  

When you complete the 11i Financial Applications Overview course, you will have familiarized yourself with the key business flows in the Oracle eBusiness Suite. Financial Application Overview – This class discusses the integration and shared entities of the Financial Suite Applications.  This includes General Ledger, Purchasing, Payables, Fixed Assets, Receivables and Cash Management.  The class will also discuss how Inventory, Order Management, Projects, iExpense, iSuppler, iProcurement, iReceivables, TCA and Human Resources tie in with these applications.  This class will cover key setup areas from each of the applications.  Students will have the opportunity to perform key transactions in each application and follow them through the process cycle of the Financial Applications.
